that's a lot of money for Juan Soto...guess we will see if it pans out. I think it is actually a good fit.

got our tree and some decorations up outside over the weekend and went up to Alexandria to watch the holiday boat parade...pretty full weekend.

Eagles tried to ruin my Sunday but snuck out of there with a W and clinched their playoffs...so yay for that.
 
morning all

Mrs Pnk and I had brunch saturday with friend of ours. weather was decent for this time of year, did some outdoor chores, got Murray out for walks, murray rolled in something stinky, so needed a bath, then pouted from said bath.

Yeah that is a huge overpay for a player who isn't a two way player. Sure he is a quality player but not even close to that much. With that said, unfortunately this is where Baseball and all of sports is going

Good luck. I had one scheduled last Friday and ended up cancelling. Not eating for 36 hours seems impossible for me.

These final few weeks sure are going to be exciting. If we can beat Buffalo I like our chances. You guys prob feel the same way if you can beat the Steelers. Vikings fans have to be feeling really confident today too.

The way it worked out for me was that I stopped eating about 10pm on Wednesday. Thursday would have been full fasting and taking all the prep to get clear. My appointment wasn’t until mid-morning on Friday.

So 24 hours just from Wed night to Thursday night then another 12 or more hours until the actual procedure.

I might go the Cologaurd route instead.

I need to learn more but the way I understand it now is that you mail in a sample and if they find anything amiss then they suggest you make an appointment for a colonoscopy.

There is no family history of colon cancer in my family so this is an option. If there was, I’d prob just do the procedure.

But the Lions game was Thursday night so I didn’t feel like shitting my brains out while that was going on.

I don't like that the Eagles don't have strong first half numbers so far this season. I'd like to see them get out to an early lead at least once.

Carolina is playing good ball right now, so not surprised that was a close game. Adam Theilan is in a good place.

Embiid made his 2nd long awaited return yesterday (and it's only December) and Maxey had his 1st career triple double, there's a balance to Philly sports, the Eagles played the game that was needed.

Always sad to see football season starting to end. HS season over on both sides but 3 Champs in the area with one being the alma mater. Michigan gets Bama to end 2024 and my injured 49ers beat the Bears.
