Big Ten schedule release day

Texas at home
At Washington
At Illinois
At Wisky
Penn State at home
At Michigan

Decent schedule right there

If the Badgers can beat Maryland at home, that'll probably be the only conference win of the year. Schedule is not friendly this time.

Buckeyes at Huskies would be a cool/fun road trip, they DO have a beautiful stadium/setting
100%. I've been to Tacoma/Seattle twice and loved it both times.

I've already told my pops to clear his schedule, Husky Stadium is a must!

Nebraska's schedule is very favorable if they can take the next step in year 3 under Rhule like he did at Temple and Baylor.

Aug 30: Cincinnati (5-7 in 2024)
Sept 6: Akron (4-8 in 2024)
Sept 13: Houston Christian
Sept 20: Michigan (7-5 in 2024)
Oct 4: Michigan St (5-7 in 2024)
Oct 11: @ Maryland (4-8 in 2024)
Oct 18: @ Minnesota (7-5 in 2024)
Oct 25: Northwestern (4-8 in 2024)
Nov 1: USC (6-6 in 2024)
Nov 8: @ UCLA (5-7 in 2024)
Nov 22: @ Penn St (11-1 in 2024)
Nov 28: Iowa (8-4 in 2024)

Michigan at home, USC at home, a bye week before traveling to Penn St, Iowa at home.

No Ohio St (10-2) or Oregon (12-0).

Yes I know Oregon's (13-0) and Penn St is (11-2), but I'm just looking at the regular season path to the CCG.

Michigan has a theoretical cakewalk next year. Only 1 team (Ohio State) on the entire schedule with a record better than 6-6 this year lol.

Stars have finally aligned for us to take advantage of an easier schedule. No excuses.

@outofyourmind, @Wishbone, - you guys understand how Texas fucked y'all yet?

Oklahoma 2025 schedule - imo you guys will probably play 8 ranked teams. Y'all play 6 teams that finished in the top half of the conference.

Illinois St
Michigan - possibly ranked
@Temple
Kent St
Texas - likely ranked
@ Bama - likely ranked
Auburn - we'll see
LSU - likely ranked
Ole Miss - likely ranked
Mizzou - likely ranked
@ South Carolina - likely ranked
@ Tennessee - likely ranked
-----------------------------------------
Now look at Texas' 2025 schedule lol

@Ohio St - ranked (give credit on the tough noncon)
San Jose St
UTEP
Sam Houston
Oklahoma
@Florida - struggling program
@Georgia - ranked
@Kentucky - arguably the 2nd worst SEC team
@Miss St - probably the worst SEC team
Arkansas - struggling
Texas A&M - likely ranked
Vanderbilt - who knows

I mean, Texas plays 6 teams that finished in the bottom half of the conference. So... UGA, Ohio St, and A&M may be the only ranked teams Texas will play all year. They screwed you into coming, enticing you with money and recruiting grounds.... only for you to become the next Nebraska of the SEC.

New OC and DC though.
DC is questionable. Still mad about that. I was saying it since he was hired that he was DC in waiting and White would be out at the end of the year, but YT videos and comments had me really hoping for Leonard. Damn my hopes.

OC... was able to improve the offense in 3 weeks by only simplifying the play calling. I assume actually coaching for an entire offseason should help tremendously.
Having some extra practices for bowl season for the first time in 7 years should be somewhat helpful.

Texas had nothing to do with it. They lined up the teams top to bottom over the last decade and the better teams got tougher conference schedules. Just how it went down. What I don’t like is keeping the same schedule 2 years in a row.

C'mon now... you know there was a wink and a nod from Texas. Hell, it was probably their idea from the get go lol.

I'm thinking Rhule would have had to hit the portal hard to re-tool in an offseason for Leonard's scheme. Basically starting over for the younger recruited players in the D system.

They've been recruiting to White's 3-3-5 for 2.5 years now and Butler is at least familiar with it.
I agree he's a big ? tho.

I have lots of confidence in Holgorsen in getting this offense explosive. Especially with Raiola no longer being a true freshman.

I think I’ve heard that somewhere before…..

Yep, AlaskaGvy. Hell, might even be a chance to throw down a couple cold ones with him, too!
Tell him I send my love when you see him.
