Friday the 13th

You can rent dumpsters for big items like this. They drop it off in your driveway then come pick it up a few days later.
It's just a couch, though I might get rid of a smoker and grill that essentially came with the house, but were pretty fucked from the start.

I don't have shit to do until 6 January

I mean, whatever, guess I can't really complain about my mortgage being $1400 anymore when I see that
My mortgage is more than that a month, but I also have the taxes and insurance rolled up in it. 15 year that was supposed to go til 2033, think I have it down to 2029 or end of 2028 now.

Living the dream! I refied in 2021 or whatever, so maybe I'll have it paid off for a year or two before I have to move into a nursing home.

I should have refied, as I saw ridiculous rates like 2%, but I'm lazy and didn't want to set up something new.

I will say, the job of breaking down the couch became much easier after using the mini saw and seeing where the screws were at and switching over to a drill, granted, my cat was like what is this fucker doing, hiding in the room over. 20241213_003546.jpg20241213_092230.jpg20241213_091941.jpg

I didn't have as involved of a couch to get rid of, mine was just in one big piece, but I did just saw the fucker in half when it was time to get it out of my house. It was a major pain to get in before we had the piano, just took a reciprocating saw to the back of it to cut it into manageable pieces.

I had a lot of fun using the box cutter and cutting out the stuffing last night. When I was still hungover this morning and said let's bring out the minisaw... I think my serial killer arc started. That said, the wire that engages the pullout for the chairs or whatever you want to call it, I initially used my mini saw, which was precarious. Once i remembered I had wire cutters, yeah, another thing that made it safer...

BF hit it from the back a bit too hard?
