Whatevs. JA's yet to meet the expectations within all those stars on his recruiting profile IMO.

OU just can't RECRUIT an elite QB. Sure, they'll walk-on or transfer in and light it up....the ones that have success in other places weren't elite recruits.

Just need a game manager, you know...like Ewers, that is just good enough to complete a pass or two, run a ball or two, and not turn the ball over...gonna need a decent running back, a couple of decent receivers, and a monster OL too.

Those things coupled with a BV defense and we'll compete at every level.

Not sure OU is going to get there anytime soon. Thinking we're gonna need some miracles. Love to see Cale Gundy come back. :dhd:

I would not bury Jackson Arnold at this moment. The kid definitely has the physical talent to be a very good QB. I didn’t love his ability to go through reads even in HS, so I have some questions. OU fans are bashing the move, but the honest ones would also admit he was put in a terrible situation. OU had a terrible receiver room, no run game, and a poor OL. You didn’t have to be Nostradamus to believe this was going to end poorly.

No one is bashing the move, everyone knew he was going to get another chance. We all wish him well, he needs it.
 
Between Arnold and Sharp OU has taken great strides to get 2 wins next year.
