Christmas Eve thread for the day

Well, I guess it's time to start shopping!
Yea....I had ordered something for my wife and thanks to Amazon I had to cancel the order and do again through Walmart of all places. Won't be here till Sunday

Mad dash to the mall
Wife put in a small grocery order that was for curbside pickup. I then decided I would run inside to grab some things to make for Christmas dinner. Good gosh golly the lines!

Smoking a 6LB beef tenderloin for the kids and grandbabies today. Half of them have the stomach flu so it looks like a shit ton of leftovers for the mrs and I.

That's a win for you

Feels weird but we finished Christmas up yesterday. Growing up usually had my mom’s side on Christmas Eve at my grandparents. Those were great memories, but unfortunately life moves on and people move on to the afterlife. Now we'll drive around to see some Christmas lights and then I'll watch the Hawaii bowl. Tomorrow the older 3 leave at 2 and won't be back until the 5th at 6pm.

I got a 22 lb prime rib. I will put it on the traeger at 6 tomorrow morning should be ready for 2 o’clock dinner. Also have a 12 lb ham.

Got the prime rib ready to go in at 1:30, just had my first beer (3 Floyd's Zombie Ice - for those wondering), whole house got cleaned between yesterday and today, all kid's presents are wrapped and ready to go. Finally feel like I can relax a bit. Big year for gifts -- we got our kids their first computers. Tomorrow is going to be a bit mad but after that, we have nothing planned until basically Michigan's bowl game on NY Eve.

Dang! I thought my 8 pounder was big. Honestly, didn't even know they got as big as 22 pounds; I'm assuming that's bone in?
