The Bengals missed the playoffs which is a travesty and Zac Taylor should be fired. Instead they fired the DC, OL, DL and LB coaches but the reason they missed the playoffs were stupid decisions and special teams. They simply waited too long to bring the ping pong table back and that is unforgivable.

That being said I need a playoff team to root for so I’m picking the Lions and going all in.

They rightfully canned their OL coach. They put plenty of effort into rebuilding that OL and it's one of the worst OLs in the NFL.

It's pretty simple: You can't win in the NFL if your OL is garbage. You're one of the best teams in the NFL if your OL is one of the best.

The defensive side of the ball was questionable; not so sure it was the coaches' faults there. Player personnel may be a bigger problem than coaching there.

They won their last 5 games, lost to 3 teams they should never had lost to and got beat 3 times they were up and should have won.

The OL was good enough to make the playoffs because they only needed to win one more game during the season.

If you are losing close games consistently it’s a coaching problem.
 
My order of teams I want to win the SB, from most to least:

Lions
Bills
Vikings
Chargers
Rams
Buccs
Broncos
Packers
Ravens
Chiefs
Steelers
Eagles
Skins
Texans

Burrow was sacked almost 50 times this year. He's a pocket passer, not a "make one read, then duck and run" type of QB that usually tallies the most sacks. The reason the Bengals were in games is because Burrow is a good QB who can find ways to overcome those OL deficiencies and he did so to the tune of the most passing yards in the league this year.

Fix the OL and the Bengals have 12 wins again.

Don’t do it. Of all the things I see homeless junkies wearing, Lions gear is among the most-depressing.

Lions are a good squad to jump on. If we didn't have 5 starters on the defensive side of the ball injured, including our best player, by a mile, Aiden Hutchinson, our #1 CB Carlton Davis, our #1 DT Alim McNeil and our best LB Derrick Barnes (though Campbell and Anzalone have played great this year, so he may not be our best LB anymore). We would be extremely tough to beat.

If we just had Aiden back -- it would be enormous. He is irreplaceable. He hasn't played since week 4 and still leads the team in sacks with 7.5 and QB pressures. :pound:

DHGate is like a chinese amazon. You can get jerseys for dirt cheap. My son is all about baseball and he probably has 15 jerseys and I bet I paid $400 total for all 15.

Carlton Davis former Auburn player by the way.

He’s just feel like everyone is beat up right now and Campbell tends to get more out of his players than anyone else.

I don’t hate the Bills but I don’t want to become an NFL version of Droider.

That’s why I forced myself to pick a team.
