All In On Detroit

I don’t hate the Bills but I don’t want to become an NFL version of Droider.

That’s why I forced myself to pick a team.

Bustin' chops man. The lions are a good team who needs a superbowl. Buffalo is in that same boat.

Right now, 3/5 of the highest paid Lions are offensive linemen. The Lions have this year and next year to win a Super Bowl.

After that, huge money for Goff and St. Brown kicks in and they're gonna need to start giving guys like Hutchinson new enormous deals - which will greatly reduce their depth and capability of re-signing good players & importing quality free agents. Lions coaches are gonna get poached, too.

Carlton Davis former Auburn player by the way.

He’s just feel like everyone is beat up right now and Campbell tends to get more out of his players than anyone else.

I believe.
Carlton Davis has a broken jaw right now. He has missed the last two weeks. He has played amazing for us this year. If he could come back -- I would feel so much better.

Terrion Arnold was taken off in a cart yesterday, so we are thin at CB.

I want Goff to get one since the Rams gave up picks to get rid of him. I know Stafford got a title so the Rams don't care, but still funny.

Congrats on tying the Bears with a 1-5 record in the NFC North this year. :)
Yes, it's mega-embarrassing to go to the playoffs with an out-of-division 10-1 record.

Lions have everyone signed to 3-4 years deal. They have Branch for 2 more years on a rookie deal. They have LaPorta two more years on a rookie deal. They have Jameson Williams two more years on a rookie deal. They have Jack Campbell 2 more years on a rookie deal plus a club option for another year. Gibbs has 2 more years, plus a club option for another year. They have Kerby Joseph either 1 or 2 more years on a rookie deal. They have Terrion Arnold 4 more years on a rookie deal.
They already signed extensions for Montgomery, Goff, Sewell, St. Brown, Decker, Ragnow.

Detroit also has a projected $68 million in cap space for 2025. Detroit could miss on every draft pick the next two years and still be one of the top teams next year and the year after.

When your record is 0-5 against the top 3 teams in your conference -- yes, it should be.

I'm married to a Lions fan. Part of me wants them to win for her sticking with such a shitty team through her whole life and part of me wants them to do what the Lions have always done and choke so I can keep trolling about their perpetual failures.

If the Packers beat the Eagles on Sunday, I'm going to have to watch the game against the Lions at someone else's house, though. I've got a happy marriage and a happy home, but that shit could get ugly - especially if the Packers kill the Lions' Super Bowl hopes.

Fuck y'all, fuck the skins, and most of all fuck that team south of us.
I'm surprised you hate the skins more considering they are usually irrelevant over the past 30 years. They may be very relevant for a while with Daniels moving forward. I'm also surprised Houston tops your list. Other than being in the same state, what's the beef? Different conference. They've been pretty good in a few seasons but never anything crazy.

This year is easy. Broncos used to be my favorite team and they’re still my AFC team, so pulling for them

But at the end of the day we all know Chiefs are winning again

Not really. Playoffs are playoffs. What’s embarrassing really, is to be a perpetual loser and snark at other teams.

You mean like you did? Or did you already forget your original comment genius?

Let's go, Rams!!!!

Eagles or Lions. Nobody else. My father-in-law from Holly Michigan, played football at Michigan in the 1950's died on New Year's Eve. Loved the Lions. So this year all in on the Lions. Thankfully he got to see a Michigan National Title in 2024.

Just admit you’re gay for Bo Nix.
