I put a meeting on all my teams calendars from 12:30-1 with the title "Mandatory: Block". It has no end. If someone is looking on my teams calendars they see a mandatory meeting from the boss so they sometimes skip it.

If they love their job then ask them to do it for free. They will admit they don't really love it, just smoke and mirrors. Everyone hates to work, it's why they have to pay you to do it.

Word. I'm having a new battery installed as I type this. It's been slow starting in the cold and on Christmas Eve, I left the headlights on when I ran into the mall and when I came out it was dead.

Fortunately, I have one of those Halo jump starter batteries and it worked like a fucking champ. Highly recommend.

It was pretty good. She really liked how it was done.

She has said that the books are MUCH darker, and everyone who sees it with their kids shouldn't read the books with the kids.

Considering it was almost 3 hours and I didn't look at my watch or wonder how much time was left, it was well done.
