Nebraska Cornhuskers 2025 Recruiting Thread (Commit List in OP)

Doing some sleuthing and it seems Wilson visited very quietly last week and has a good relationship with Dana. He's a former 4-star recruit but hasn't played much for Houston. Given Fritz's triple option style offense it would seem Dana's scheme fit would be better than Houston's considering that's also what he was recruited for.

Here's the thing - he had an okay year but was among the worst on the OL for Alabama in giving up pressures. He also had some legal troubles. However, he still has two years and he has all the skills, they just need to be honed. Basically, he is a replacement for Benhart but he has more athleticism and upside.

He's a mercenary for sure... but he's been pretty good at Louisville and Arizona. Nebraska needs a ton of competition in the secondary as evidenced by the bowl game
 
So, the all-star games are done, sounds like Mills turned some heads, not sure if he'll receive a bump in rating or not. the all-star games are starting to lose a bit of their luster. I think the final ratings will come out in February most likely. Once that happens we will also have a finished transfer class and we can update ratings etc... in the OP
 
Seems as though Nebraska is falling behind Kentucky for Pete... I think they have one more Tackle they will give a shot at. It's clear they wanted to bring in at least two, looks like they might only get one.
 
A few updates on a Saturday night... 1. The transfer DB from Arizona is no longer transferring to Nebraska... he is staying at Arizona.

I do not believe the decision was his, DeShon Singleton choosing to return took his slot IMO
 
Nebraska hosting a Notre Dame OL tomorrow... the last day to register for classes is tomorrow as well. I think Nebraska has a good shot with him. Rocco Spindler is his name and he would be a Guard most likely.



Nebraska wanted a tackle but it looks like they are just going to go with best available to close out the class. They hope he's in. They want more veteran talent along the OL
 
Gentlemen, I've been considering this for a while. Many of you know that I've been follwoing Nebraska recruiting for a LONG time and have been reporting on it freely on multiple message boards in that time. But... now is the time I am going to have to give it up. With where life is I just can't do it anymore. Perhaps in the future I will pick it back up. Sorry for the disappointment (if there is any). And GBR for life!

Appreciate your insight over the last few years. Take care of yourself first and foremost and focus on what you need to.

I appreciate your efforts. It'll be missed as spring practice wraps up, and into the off season abyss.

Take care of what needs to be taken care of, hope you can find time to get back to what you did for the insight on recruiting. If I remember correctly, I first saw you do postings on the CBS board when it was active many moons ago.
