What are you supposed to do? Take five stutter steps and be four feet away from where the ball is?
It’s a millisecond. You jump and twist back to catch the ball.

No you are right. The first thing added to cars since ABS is a set of hydraulics to jump the car off the ground when it needs to stop REALLY fast.

The ball is behind you and high. You twist back in the air. You don’t take stutter steps and be five feet away and two seconds late. Have you had a stroke?

Remove all friction and ability to stop, sure sure. Makes total sense. No need to plant your feet and stop, nah just jump in the air for no reason and make it "look cool".

I've always taken the approach with any of my favorite teams when I start to lose faith in them: I'm gonna talk a little shit (I would have punched Ryan Day straight in the mouth without hesitation on nov 30) but I always reserve the hope that they will prove me wrong and make me out my foot in my mouth
