NFL WEEKLY GAME THREAD Wild Card Weekend

if the Steelers aren't careful then Herbstreit is going to start ranting about their inclusion in the playoff

End of Mike Tomlin if Pittsburgh gets blown out in this round.
Dude has never had a losing record and these teams the last few years, especially since Ben retired have not had a lot to work with. If he gets fired, I hope the Falcons sign him to a lifetime contract

In terms of the best run organizations in pro football, you are watching two of them right here

Still can't believe the Steelers punted on 4th and like 2 inches.

How’s his timeout game?
Find it hard to believe it’s worse than what we have. I’ll never understand how a head coach at any level can have trouble with clock management. It seems like it would be the easiest part of the job

This! Aside from having game clocks practically everywhere, they also have coaches on the field in the box, support staff and even a get-back coach. Pretty sure they can also wear a watch or look at their cellphone

He’s a good coach no doubt. But Pittsburgh doesn’t have a playoff win in 9 years. There’s a good argument to be made that being just good enough to be .500 and lose in the first round of the playoffs is worse then being complete garbage and having the draft capital to rebuild. I mean their seasons have been predictable for about a decade now.

While true, 50% of the league is this way and the other 50% wants to be

There is a certain franchise on Lake Erie that would sell their souls to the Devil for this. They did and still managed to fuck it like a duck
