Kevin Cobb netted the eagles a nice return.

Troy Smith was on his way to an All-Pro caliber career before he got Lou Gehrig's disease or whatever it was
As a lifelong Browns fan who was alive the last time they won a league title (before the the championship game was renamed for a child's toy) I cannot argue with this.
I can't imagine they would look at either Sanders or Ward and think either is the right fit here. OL is by far the most glaring need, especially LT, and there are two great ones in the first round. Even if they went with Mason Graham, I'd be way happier than if they wasted it on a QB that won't be here in 3 years.Hoping and praying they do the smart thing and get some O-line help or land a skill position weapon.
They should be able to find an adequate, average NFL QB somewhere in FA. I don't think they can fully go all in on a new QB until the Watson saga is behind them.
Incredible job by the front office of setting the franchise back 5 years with a single move. Gotta appreciate that kind of efficiency.

Nothing about Hunter says "first round pick" to me. He's not playing both ways, and he's not a top 10 talent at either position. He doesn't fill a need at 2 either. That would make me irate. It has to be either OL/DL or trade back, to then take OL/DL.I also wouldn't mind if they picked Travis Hunter. Skill position picks are always higher risk than OL tho.
I'd rather wait and see if they can get Dillon Gabriel in the 2nd round.

No interest in Gabriel in the 2nd if you can get Howard in the 3rd. Also, I read earlier today that they're evidently interested in Jaxson Dart, who would probably be 2nd round.
It sounds like Deion badly wants Shadeur in LV, and they clearly need a splash at QB. If they can get a trade back to 6, it would be ideal because both OTs would still be there and they'd likely be able to pick up a 2026 first and some other picks as well. If they stay at 2 and take Shadeur, the FO and coaching staff will look completely different by the end of next season. They can't screw it up.I think i agree overall. They need to get OL/DL help, ideally in the early rounds. QB class is weak, so it doesn't make a lot of sense to draft one of the 2 top projected QBs with #2 overall. They can still maybe trade back and get some good value if they go in for a lineman in the first round.
I forgot we'd ever had a QB drafted. Jordan Palmer wasn't anywhere close to older brother.
That's my quarterback!2022 is the worst and I don't think it's particularly close. Not only was it thought of as being bad heading into the draft, everyone from that class sucks besides Purdy.
