Reading @OregonDucks posts in this thread reminds me of that classic twilight zone episode where the last dude alive after nuclear holocaust looks forward to spending his remaining days enjoying reading books and then his glasses fall off and the lenses shatter

 
I enjoyed that game. Congrats tOSU honks! Well done.

- Freeman got too cute. I think he read too many press clippings about his "genius" punt move with UGA and got too cute - you didn't have to do a fake punt, and you shouldn't have kicked the field goal. Still think he's a very good coach, seems like a great guy, and ND had a great season.

- tOSU - that last pass was a dagger. The minute you saw press coverage, you knew where the ball was going.

Year one of the CFP-12 was an amazing success. Some things to iron out in 2026, but looking forward to this coming season.

It wasn't a bad game. The problem is that today is January 20 and most casual college fans are long gone. That's the main takeaway from the CFP-12. You just had 2 weeks of great NFL football, it's MLK day, and the new president just got inaugurated. Not a lot of bandwidth for excitement about CFB.

Options:
- Start season Week 0
- The rule that there has to be 10 days between games has to go.
- It won't happen, but CCG could go - again, too much $$$.
- Season ends Thanksgiving weekend, Army Navy the week after, and then back to back weekends with round 1 and quarter finals on campus. That lessens the NFL competition.
- Semis on NYD with 2 of the NY6 bowls
- Finals the following week/Monday.

The two teams had serious interest - tickets at kickoff for get-in shit seats were cheapest at $4,500.

Winning with dignity and grace is boring. Your team wins, you earn the right to talk shit, especially when there’s losers trying to detract from your team’s accomplishment
