Most Deserving Champions Ever - Ohio State Buckeyes 2024

Considering your tenuous grasp on college football, I commend you continuing to focus on it as a singular sport before you venture out to try to understand other ones.
A 6-5 Michigan team playing Ohio State had almost as many viewers as the world series this year....other sports suck.

He's like the teenager who goes against the grain for "look at me attention"

Example: Him being the only one here arguing for the BCS over a playoff.
I've been arguing the BCS is better than the playoff for over a decade now.

"It's a shame the SEC didn't get at least half the playoff field" - MnB before the playoff started.

This guy is not serious.

The playoff is not more valid, it just makes more money for the TV networks and conferences.
Having to win multiple games to be the champ is infinitely more indicative of the best team than some coaches and writers picking two teams and telling them to figure it out.

Exactly. You are retarded if you woulda been happy with a Oregon vs Georgia BCS title game after watching what happened in the playoff.

In either system the G5 shouldn't be involved, and ND should be excluded until they join a major conference. Given the SEC and B10 had most of the best teams this year, yes -- they should have had a pretty good chunk of the spots in this playoff. What are you going on about?

Yes. Because Ohio State had the chance to play oregon in the season and lost. You sure proved that given 17 tries, you might finally win a game.

Yea South Carolina who couldnt beat Illinois sure shoulda been in the playoff!

"half the field shoulda been SEC teams" implies that you think Bama and South Carolina who both suffered embarrassing bowl losses should been in the playoff.
I think this year lacked a deep pool of quality teams to fill a 12 team playoff either way. But certainly Boise and SMU shouldn't have been occupying those spots.

lol, the 11-2 ACC conference runner up "certainly" didn't deserve a spot in a 12 team playoffs?
