Kirby is fairly young too, but I don’t think the NFL interests him. I don’t know why, it’s way less of a workload than top level college

I feel like Kirby has an image of himself becoming the new Saban and dominating at the CFB level like Saban did.
It's gotta be in the back of his mind sometimes. It's the top of the profession you are in. There has got to be a part of you that wonders if you could do it, even if you are extremely comfy at the college level

There’s not much downside. If they go to the NFL and fail like Saban did, Kirby and Day could always come back to the college game and be the most sought after coach on the market

Yeah but if you have sustained success at a top tier program you can earn enough "fuck you" money in the college ranks, and you'd never have to pay for a meal or drink again in that town.
