How much do you pay for a haircut?

Just checked his website to see what kind of discount i'm getting and it looks like the starting price for what I normally go in for is $235. So yeah - a pretty good deal, IMO. Would be a better deal if I didn't have to schlep to SF every 6 or so weeks, but I'm okay with it.

Left coast prices are so fuckin outrageous. The Mrs pays $125.00 for a cut and color with a $25.00 tip.

I've always kept the setting on 2, so I can't tell you about settings 3 or 4. Setting 1 would be the shortest.

I give it a 5 star rating and run it over my head every 10-14 days.

The one I posted is actually the old one I had and it lasted 4-5 years.

This is the one I have now. It's a little more at $50. I've had it at least 3 years now.
It comes with the trimmer for the back of my neck and around my ears. There's also an attachment on the trimmer to trim a beard at different lengths. I sometimes grow a short beard in the winter.

$15.00 with a $5.00 tip = $20.00 I've been going to the same place since I moved here. When I got here, the mother ran the shop and the daughter worked there as well. Now the mom is retired and the daughter runs the shop. She's hired a young girl to fill the second seat.

I'd say out of 3,582 ratings, 68% of them being 4 or 5 star is a pretty damn good rating.

80% being 3 star or higher ain't to shabby either.

I'm guessing anyone trying to use it on longer hair settings (4 or 5) are probably the 20% that gave 1 and 2 star ratings.
