I highly doubt her agent allowed her original contract as a writer (and an extra) to be voided for the new one that would restrict her ability to use her talents elsewhere. Let's say it did....That would mean she got paid $75,000 for Mean Girls in 2004 because it was a Paramount Pictures. lel

She left SNL in 2006. Why? So she could do her own thing on the tv series 30 Rock.

New actors, actresses, and writers were limited to in-house Paramount Pictures movies or NBC. Was he blocking them from movies? No, but they had to be Paramount Movies for $75,000 pay. Not the $Millions they'd be getting from an industry competitor.

SNL's worst rating year from 1980 - 1990 was a 7.1
SNL's best rating year from 1999 - 2017 was a 6.2

The 6.2 was in 2000-2001 when they still had at least some old contract quality on staff. They never saw a 6 rating again after that. Nobody was tuning in for low quality garbage acting and writing.
