• Get rid of that dumb new rule about overrunning 2nd on forced plays with two outs.
• Get rid of dropped third strike exception.
• Add five seconds to pitch clock
• Get rid of the pitcher disengagement rule in post-season.
• Get rid of pick-off move. Make pitchers step off rubber to throw to a base.
• Get rid of DH
• Pitchers do not bat (only eight fielders bat)

Everything outside of the Manfred Man removal is stupid. I won't refute each one separately, but is the game really worse off in regards to pitcher disengagement when we have examples like the below?

 
I forgot the big one… if we’re gonna insist on six playoff teams per league and three-game wildcard rounds, we need to go back to 2 Divisions
 
I think the MLB is in it's best time since the 90's. I think MLB has the potential to be the second biggest pro sport behind the NFL of course. The game is becoming fun, there are young stars around the league, you have a mega villain in the Dodgers and their payroll, the big market teams are getting good again, yet a handful of small market teams have a some decent rosters to compete.

The game is speeding up and there is guaranteed to be some sort of drama stirred up throughout the year. It's just on the league and/or networks to highlight that drama and really push it to the audience to get people interested to tune in on same random game 2 of a 3 game series in the middle of May. But it can be done. I've followed MLB daily for the last 3 years, first time following this closely since the 90's and it has been awesome. The game is beautiful.

It’s change for the sake of change and accomplishes nothing. It’s a dumb idea like most of your ideas to change the rules of sports. If they don’t want to play a short series, win more games and earn a first round bye. Not all division winners are created equal nor should they be treated as though they were.

You mean one team isn’t as good as the other end it’s provably so? Like when they play each other and the same group of teams a lot and one comes out with more wins? Like… you know… being in the same division?

Jesus fucking Christ you’re retarded. Even in your genius fucking scenario you can have imbalance between the two divisions. You can have a second or even third place team in one division with over 100 wins and the winner of the other with 90. You’d have teams with better records against tougher competition in shorter series and a lesser team with a bye because they got lucky to be in the weaker division. Your “solution” does nothing but make weak-minded idiots like you feel smart because you thought of something “better” than the “experts”.

Stop. For the love of god stop. You’re stupid. Your ideas are stupid and you’re making this whole board more stupid by subjecting us to them.

Yeah, let's compare a crisp 1-2-3 half inning from a Sunday afternoon regular season game with a pitch clock to a high leverage point of an NLCS game from nearly a decade ago.

Without offering my opinion on pitch clocks, this is a retarded comparison.
