A very kind, friendly Thursday thread

Morning all

Curling team went 1-1 last night, completely choked last two ends. We were up 8-4, with two ends to go, hadn't given up more than one point in any single end....lost in OT 9-8. Had multiple chances to end it, we all choked. Had we won, potentially won league, now we not even be top 3 so no gift card

The worker from golf course there that oversees it, acts as a ref, has been dick most of year but last night was really bad. We play two games and he was scolding team for being "late" to start second game and was just over top. Our team joined in telling him to calm down. Might go full karen and email the head who we know as we do leagues every year.

I am hoping to be done running my volleyball league after this season. It's a pretty easy job, I just don't want it anymore. Let someone else be in charge. I want to play more tennis and golf.

But as @Guy Incognito mentioned Tournament Time soon... So there is that!

@basement bias ugh - Duke picked to win it all by basically everyone.... Don't like that at all. I just as easily see them losing in the Sweet 16

My 3rd didn't have a name until a couple of hours before we left the hospital and that was three or four days after she was born. Then, we called from the car on the way home and changed it.

Her name was Baby for a few days.

We knew what Tank's middle name was going to be (my dad, wife's dad, my grandfather, wife's godfather all have the same first name), but we weren't sure what we were going to do for a first name until after he was born.
