March Madnes NCAA TOURNEY 2025

NIL and the portal is separating the haves and have nots. Even if a mid major has they are gone the next season. Mid majors are a developmental league now and the bigger schools are signing one to two freshman and recruiting the majority of their teams out of the portal.

The dream of a Cinderella is fading.

Yup, and just like that, Maryland is back on top.

I think the 5th year too. A lot of guys just said ... I already graduated, why not play my 5th year at Kentucky.

I will say though, before one and done, you had NBA lottery picks staying at the big schools for 4 years and you still had Cinderellas, so ... there will still be upsets.

But you'll probably not see a 16 beating a 1 again.

St Marys blows. Screwed the over because they basically conceded defeat with 4 min left walking ball up the court down 9

The lack of urgency is mind blowing

I think we will see upsets but big runs by the Loyolas of the world maybe done.

Seems logical.

But it will be harder to stay on top too, because any football school can just throw money at a coach and get key players via NIL.

Ole Miss looks like they're going to the Sweet 16. Fucking Ole Miss...

So, more teams to steal wins from Kentucky and Kansas

Any question that Maryland gets bailed out with a foul here?

Colorado State with a 3 to take lead. Only 3.6 seconds left

Wow. Maryland buzzer beater to win

fwiw, i have read that Maryland has NIL issues and that is why Williard is looking to bail. with that said, they should still have more NIL money than Colorado State.

Someone finally did a madness

Would love to see Niko in iowa city. Too bad minny needs a coach at the same time.

You are going to see the Big 10 and SEC spend big money on basketball because eventually they are going to want control of the basketball post season as it’s worth a billion dollars after cost and team payouts.

Notice how the ACC is fading and eventually it will be economically viable for teams to leave and I don’t expect Duke or UNC to stay. That would just leave Kansas as a traditional blue blood not in a P2. All they have to do is offer the Big East a smaller slice and put up money for at large teams and they own it.

lol at Lewis from Arizona. Misses the dunk but hangs on rim while putting ball back in. By rule gets a technical foul for hanging on rim

If Oregon loses, they can blame their embarrassingly bad 8/17 from free throw line

That and conditioning - they have been horrible on defense the last several possessions
