I don't recall the year, but I was playing fantasy football, basketball, and baseball. I found myself no longer enjoying it, so quit.

I've been at vikings games and I'll see guys glued to their phone checking on updates to their fantasy team. Hey buddy, there is real football going on right in front of you

Brees not getting more snaps and points to Taysom Hill was the start of it. Then the Patriots not using James White anymore was the nail in the coffin. I hate fantasy football, this will be the 2nd and last time I do it. The first time, I had been a fill in and the profile wouldn't log in so I got the auto drafted team. I basically said fuck it on that one.

You know what happens now, right? This team of yours goes on a tear and leaves you debating whether to do it again next year.

It’s the golf corollary. The moment I say out loud and with intention that I am done with this game after this round the rest of my round is good enough to make me back up on that statement.
