I'm guessing you aren't crate training....
I am... but I'm also tired AF
I put her in there around 10 - until 2 nights ago, this is the time she loses her MF'in shit over it. This little nugget makes ungodly sounds... crying, whining... guttural death cries! She literally crawls up the crate like a little monkey. Does it for about 20 minutes until she wears herself out.

Then she's asleep until around 1, when she starts the little whimpering, so I take her out to pee, pet her effusively until she falls asleep in my arms, then put her back. She whines a little, but falls asleep quicker (does it being dark help?). Then up again around 3 so I take her to pee then I mean to put her back in, but I lay down and fall asleep before I finish petting her back to sleep, so around 6am, I take her to pee again and then it's no more crate for the day until bedtime.

Probably need a better schedule and more consistency.

That dog is more high maintenance than you are.

Have ya EVEN considered YOU sleepin in da crate and lettin lil nugget have the fng bed?

Selfish, if ya haven't.

I EXPECT sum moar politeness from YOU!

They need to federally legalize it (seeing as how no one seems to give a shit anyways) and require each state's population to vote on which direction to go.

You can have a

A.) Not legal at all.

B.) Medically legal and recreationally illegal

C.) Medically legal and recreationally decriminalized

D.) Medically and recreationally legal

Then let the states hash out the details on what further "rules" they want in place.
I like that route also because I'd imagine in this day and age it'd be a lot tougher to get it made illegal again than legalization.

I cut up enuff limes for another 2-3 G&T's.

Wonderin if I should go Maxie ... :headscratch:

My bed is a double pillowtop mattress and is fairly high off the ground. This 4" tall speck is towered by it. I piled a bunch of pillows and a blanket for her to see if she'd use it as a ramp to climb up. And she did! So friggin' cute!

Until she did it to piss on my bed. Washed the blanket and then she did it again the next day. So in a fit, I tore the whole thing down and tossed the blankets & pillows aside, yanked the bedding off again and rewashed. She wails her head off at night in the crate so at one of the 3am wakings, i put her back in and left the door open so she could go fuck around (she really likes the spot under my desk). A few minutes later, I hear whining & scratching... she figured out how to climb the mountain of throw pillows on the side of the bed and crawled into bed with me.

How could I NOT let her stay?? :D

Nature's Miracle is great for getting pee smells out of fabric ... to the point the animal can't smell it, so doesn't return to the same place. They've changed the formula, so the smell is stronger than it was, but it's still better than the smell of dog, and even more, cat pee.

I've always had big dogs, so I've never crate trained. With teeny dogs, I guess it would be fine, at least if the crate is really big, but crates aren't big enough, imo, for big dogs to have really any room, and it seems cruel (not in a cruelty to animals kinda way, just mean). I know some people swear by it, for big dogs, too.

We're having a power struggle. I read an article about Small Dog Syndrome and she's got a wicked case...which I am inadvertently allowing for typical hooman reasons. SHE'S JUST TOO CUTE!

Is this a serious question? Of course you should go Maxie since @moxie never will anymore

My parents got a small dog when I was 12 and it's definitely real.

Well now he's just old and doesn't care anymore.
