Gawdamm Good Friday

That's a staple in our house. They are good, but they're more of a teriyaki sauce than a barbecue.

We always have the original and usually the hot & spicy. We also tried the Yuzu Citrus, which I didn't care for so much.

I'm interested to try the roasted garlic and hella hot ones.
I can't stand teriyaki sauce

Well the Superintendent at the alma mater resigned. He kept his job after a DUI but the latest rumors must have been true that he swept an assault by a teacher under the rug as he was having a relationship with that married teacher.

Then it surprises me that you like Bachan's because they're similar.
I don't really think so. Traditional teriyaki is like a sweet gooey sauce. Bachans is more of a penetrating marinade. It's watery even, and a glaze like teriyaki.

Well he was certainly approving the teachers lesson plan

Traditional teriyaki is gooey when you reduce it down. When you don't, it's not. The flavors are similar.

Ha. My mother was full blooded Japanese and use to make many of the traditional meals for our family. Her rendition of teriyaki chicken is to combine 1 cup sugar with 1 cup of soy sauce in a 9x13 dish, add chicken pieces and bake at 350 for 30 minutes then turn over the pieces and bake another 30 minutes. Serve the sauce over rice as a side dish. Easiest, tastiest dish ever.

Nice.

First two ingredients in Bachan's are soy sauce and cane sugar.

Sad fucking day today as the triangle pillow got packed away and shipped off to the storage unit.

I have been using these for all kinds of shit lately. I love all these. View attachment 135123

There is a sweet and spicy one that is fucking amazing.

Take a large piece of salmon, cut it into 2" chunks, and marinate in any of their sauces for 30min, and roll them around on the grill, and thank me later.

I made the wife some turkey burgers, put them over salad, and drizzle some over the top for her meal preps, to die for.

Try this shit out if you can find in you bland ass corner of the world.
those are good, i like it on chicken wings

A lot of stupid shit going on it seems. Guess the teacher got divorced last year but I'm guessing that was the true cause. Guess she was the one that bailed him out of jail for the DUI & may have been a passenger while he was pulled over. Trying to find out more on her & supposedly assaulting a student. That's the lone blemish on his work resume as he's one of the top performers in his profession when it comes to academic & extra curricular success. The biggest problem in the school wants to become superintendent. That one I'd voice my concerns as it seems she started the fucking circus.
