2025 Scheduling Updates

This would be my best guess for that weekend:

Ohio @ Ohio State - 12:00 | FOX
UF @ LSU - 12:00 | ABC
OU @ Temple - 12:00 | ESPN
Wisconsin @ Alabama - 3:30 | ABC
Oregon @ NW - 3:30 | CBS
USC @ Purdue - 3:30 | NBC
USF @ Miami - 3:30 | ESPN
Pitt @ WVU - 4:00 | FOX
A&M @ ND - 7:30 | NBC *Confirmed
UGA @ Tennessee - 7:30 | ABC
Clemson @ GT - 7:30 | ESPN
Oregon State @ TTU - 8:00 | FOX

That'd be awesome. I hope it's that.

Didn't know this. OSU vs. TX won't be in primetime.

Never about the fans anymore. Every single sport in this country is about extracting as much from the fans as possible. My tits are damn near dry but they keep on milking.

Ex: selling out to Fox and killing night games in the big ten

I would be shocked if it’s not Noon. FOX probably will have zero competition at noon as I fully expect LSU/Clemson at 3:30 and then Bama/FSU 7:30. That’s really the only notable other games as I don’t see Tennessee/Cuse anywhere close to this matchup. Plus FOX can put Utah/UCLA at 3:30 then.

I actually think Cuse/Tennessee will be the ABC 3:30 game. According to the ESPN/ABC deal the SEC gets the 3:30 ABC slot. With FSU and Clemson being the home team, that wouldn't work. Could ESPN/ABC circumvent that? They could, but that would go against what was in the contract.

My guess all off-season has been that Bama/FSU is Noon on ABC and LSU/Clemson is primetime on ABC. I would also think that UCLA/Utah is a top 3 selection and thus would be on CBS/NBC (my guess would be NBC in primetime)

Isn’t Tennessee considered the away team in their matchup with Cuse? Ether way it’s not going to matter because Disney is getting all 3 games anyway. Unless the SEC wants one of those putrid non con matchups week 1 at an SEC stadium for 3:30 (doubtful) they are going to have to circumvent it. I also think they’ll put Bama/FSU at night for Corso’s last gameday.

Great point about CBS/NBC getting that Utah/UCLA game. I had forgotten FOX won’t get both those games as one of CBS/NBC will surely pick it up.

I still say:
Tenn/Cuse at Noon
LSU/Clem at 3:30
Bama/FSU at 7:30

It'll be interesting to see where GameDay goes. I think they'll go to OSU/TX.

Getting to the point I wouldn't mind OSU leaving the Big Ten if this is how Fox is going to handle their contract. Go to the SEC and get primetime games galore. Fuck Fox.

The other issue is Fox's MLB obligations. Even if they wanted to put this game in primetime, they aren't able to do so contractually. My guess is there's probably 4 or 5 Saturdays where this is the case.

Come over to the dark side of Independence. Lol. On a serious note, I don't think we'll have any Noon kickoffs this year. Although I can maybe see the Arkansas game being a noon kickoff on ABC.

Night kickoffs are generally overrated. Noon to early evening kickoffs ftw.

Later kickoffs mean more waiting for said games to begin and to end. Especially for those of us on the EC & even more so if the game is really close.

I hate the greedy networks as much as the next football fan, but “more night games!” is just a really dumb hill to die on.

I've personally always liked the 3:30 games, but maybe that's because ND plays in that time slot more often than not, especially at home. I do enjoy primetime games as well, but I also like the fact there are now better games on at Noon. Not just with BNK, but now on ABC as well.

Noon kickoffs suck if you buy tickets. and i'm not huge on night games, either. 3:30 is definitely the sweet spot.

I don't go to many game anymore, but I've attended all day parts. My favorite time slot I've attended was a 4:30 kickoff. You get to experience tailgating for longer, and don't get home ridiculously late.

Everyone is allowed to have their preferences. Personally, I love night games because they are the best atmospheres.

Also, the East Coast sucks! That’s a YOU problem :nutswinger:

It's Corso's last gameday. He played at FSU. I'd be very surprised if GameDay goes to Columbus. It's also why I think it'll be the night game. Time will tell.

EDIT, nvm on that night game pick. 3:30 it is!

I can certainly see that. My thought was he could begin his headgear with Brutus and end it with Brutus.
