I am glad Iowa and UCLA would be paired up. I am less worried about them than I am about Oregon or Washington.

I am hoping Iowa faces UCLA and USC. I don't see Iowa making NCAA's.

I'm fine with Nebraska's pool. Gotta win the tournament either way to get an auto-bid.

Nebraska's won their last 5 conference series in a row so they appear to be peaking, and that's what you want going into post season, so it gives me some optimism for the potential auto-bid. They did not face Michigan St or Oregon during the regular season.

If they can get past Sparty on Monday, then Friday night's game against Oregon will be a sure Omaha sell-out.
 
i went to the ACC baseball tournament in Charlotte last year. had a blast. formats for conference baseball tournaments are pretty dumb in general.

Omaha's the setting for the College World Series, so they're well prepared to handle a conference tournament.

Got it. When I read your post, UCLA had already won 8-6.

#9 Penn St is beating #5 Washington 4-0 in the Top of the 7th. Dogs have been doing well in this tournament.

Put me on record that Oregon or UCLA don't win this tournament because the BIG 10 is gonna need another team to get the auto-bid. It's just my tinfoil hat talking.

I wonder how well Iowa fans are gonna travel to Omaha? Nebraska fans didn't represent well last night, but the weather was dreary and cool.
