My Lord, I can't even imagine.
A few months ago, we went to the local Olive Garden. I don't think I'd been there in probably 30 years. Fucking gross.
I’ve pretty much sworn off any major chain restaurants. They’ve all gotten so bad with everything coming in frozen and basically just heated up on site. If we go out, it’ll be to someplace local.
Went to a local chain here and ordered NY strip. It came in 10 minutes and was lukewarm, which means it was precooked and probably microwaved. Disgusting. Complained, then left. They threatened to call the cops, but I left anyway.

We went there because my kids had never been there and we figured it'd be cheap and "how bad could it be." Fucking bad is the answer.
Same thing happened a few years ago when I decided to take my daughter to Outback Steakhouse. That might have been the single worst restaurant experience I've ever had.
We are slowly crossing off a lot of restaurants from our list based on either cost or quality. My middle daughter and I were out yesterday and stopped off at a Chipotle. I got a chicken bowl, she got a steak burrito. We both had a soda and she got some chips and queso. Total bill for walk-in service (no tip or delivery fee) was $42. Quality was decent, but that’s way too much for what it is.

Outback Steakhouse has gone downhill. One decent steakhouse restaurant I went to proved to be way too expensive to be worth it. Why spend the money there when I can get a $500 Gas grill and tomahawk ribeyes for pretty much the same price?
Unbelievable.
