We couldn't have gotten to where we are right now without help. We kind of got together with a few of our families, and set some basic rules:
1) Try not to do dumb shit.
2) Please tell us if you've been popped for contact tracing or test positive.
Right now, our "circle" is us (I've been working from home since March, wife isn't working, 5-year-old daughter is homeschooled, is in dance, and plays soccer), my parents (both retired), the in-laws (both retired), and my sister's family (she worked in a minimal-exposure retail setting until this week, when she went remote; her husband works on airplanes so he can't be remote but he's got limited exposure; his kids are in high school but they're full remote because sis and BiL were concerned about having to take time off work if their girls had caught it).
We have done a lot less than we normally would have done, but I think we've been able to keep it normal-ish. What's going to be really weird is that we've got my son's baptism scheduled for the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Will be really small, attendance-wise. Basically, just the circle outlined above, and the godparents.
