EPL 2024/2025

Ha ha City.
I only saw the 2nd half but heard the play on Sirius driving to Farmer's Market the call on Henderson. Odd call there. They said no red card because Haaland was moving sideways not straight to goal. Did they award a free kick? I missed that part.

As for the confrontation at the end with Henderson and Pep, Henderson said this:

"I just went to shake his hand but obviously I think he was disappointed with the time wasting," Henderson said. "I said 'you got the 10 minutes that you wanted'. No hard feelings."

No trophies for City this year and it feels good. Entitled bunch at City.

The ruling officially was that Haaland was not in with a goalscoring opportunity. So a red card is not mandatory. And there was no free kick because the play continued and continued from an out of bounds after they reviewed it.

Sunderland back in EPL. Nice. Better than Sheffield who plays the roller coaster up and down aka a Burnley, Leeds, etc.

So much for Villa going to UCL. Emi Martinez just did a Manuel Neuer NHL hip check for the red card. lol.

Leave it to EPL refs to screw Villa just now. Wow!

Villa could lose UCL because bullshit refs now that Man U just scored. Villa needed a tie with Everton leading.

Now Villa screwed themselves again.

Ange sacked lol. Probably necessary. Even though Spurs won Europa, it is now wattered down with no UCL group stage losers dropping down now. But he did win a trophy in his second year.

Thomas Frank to Spurs it appears.

I went through the stages of grief with the Ange sacking. Couldn't fathom how the organization could fire a guy who finally actually delivered a trophy. The players all clearly still backed him as well.

But, 17th is clearly unacceptable and there was plenty of worrying signs of a lack of improvement in our playstyle, injuries aside.

One of those strange cases where fans on either side had solid reasoning for their stances on Ange.

Frank seems like a very good manager, so I'm happy with that. Need Levy to actually get some high quality experienced players in for Frank, otherwise it's going to be another new manager in 2 years.
