I have no reason to watch a high school game. I'll be watching most of not all these games. Pretty good matchups with some of these.

Meh. I have no desire to watch any local HS football team, including the HS I attended. It's be different if I had family playing, but my son is in 3rd grade. So maybe if about 5 years. Lol.

I'm not but even if I was, I don't think I'd be any different. I understand I'd be in the minority.
Get to know some (or all) of your local high school's players/coaches and attend some of their home games. I guarantee you they'll appreciate it.
That said, I have to admit I have a hard time attending the local high school games in September. I just can't handle the heat/humidity nowadays.

I'm sure I will once my kids are of that age and my son or their friends are playing. It's actually pretty big locally where I am, and I went to all the games growing up, but not knowing anybody makes it hard to get invested.

sir.. TXHSFB was in full swing that Friday.. I was watching the Dickinson Gators taking on Katy at a packed stadium.
But I won't be watching them live this opening Friday night.. I will be in Columbus signing autographs next to Arch with buckeye women throwing themselves at us in their flannel shirts.. perhaps one of the poor school CFB game will be on in the background??

Apparently Fox's top 3 selections were OSU/Michigan, OSU/TX and OSU/PSU. NBC had the 4th selection and picked this one. Guessing CBS's first selection was maybe Michigan/USC. After the top 4 there wasn't an obvious next game IMO.
