Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys dead age 82

honestly, I thought he had died a few years ago.

Very underrated musician and songwriter, tried to drag the Beach Boys out of the high school/surfer music into something more evolved

Gonna watch Norbit in his honor.

Probably should have died in the 70’s apparently that mental breakdown he had was epic

He was way ahead of his time musically. Was abused physically and mentally by his father. Struggled with mental illness pretty much all his life

Mike Love, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnston are left.
You forgot Stamos

Just realized my parents were in their early 20's when The Beach Boys were popular.

Early 20's with 4 snot nosed kids a total of 5 years apart. I heard my share of Beach Boys growing up.
My dad had the 'American Graffiti' soundtrack on LP and he played it routinely during dinner.

It's a shame that Brian and the boys had to rip off David Lee Roth's song about California girls, but I suppose it's all water under the bridge at this point.

RIP Brian

Dude kinda sounds like a pussy TBH. I don’t really think verbal abuse is a real thing. You’ve got a mouth too, put it back on em, and if the abuse was physical, he should have just whipped his old man’s ass when he got grown.

Not a big fan of The Beach Boys, but they were among the first to recognize Glen Campbell’s guitar skills

18 years from now you should come back here and share with us the worst thing that you've ever said to your daughter. I'd bet that it won't even come close

There’s a difference between sons and daughters.
