Tarantino is making a sequel to the 2019 hit "Once Upon a Time In Hollywood"titled "The Adventures of Cliff Booth" (the character played by Pitt), and he will be paid handsomely for his efforts.

The InSneider reported (via WorldofReel.com) that Netflix is paying Tarantino a staggering $20 million for the script.

DiCaprio reportedly was offered $3 million to appear in a small minor cameo role in the sequel. There's no word on Pitt's compensation, but I'd imagine it's also sky-high if DiCaprio is getting $3 million for a cameo.

Out of the Tarantino movies, I consider Once Upon a Time in Hollywood to be middle of the pack. If Netflix is going to put out that kind of money for a series then go after Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill or even Jackie Brown as they would a lot more interesting.

I've got:
1) Pulp Fiction
2) Kill Bill
3) Inglorious Basterds
4) Reservoir Dogs
5) Django Unchained
6) Once Upon a Time in Hollywood
7) The Hateful Eight
8) Death Proof
9) Jackie Brown

So, yeah, I agree with you that it's middle of the pack. It also makes the most sense to have a spin-off because it's his latest film where the age & condition of the actors aren't that far removed from the original performance.

The only other spin-off or sequel that seems reasonable at this point is Perla Haney-Jardine reprising her role as B.B. (She's 27 years old now.) Uma Thurman could cameo.

The back story on the characters for Reservoir Dogs could be cool but you would have to recast but you could make that work.

Kill Bill with a teenage BB could work and Uma could pull the mom roll off.

Pulp Fiction it would have to be an aged Vincent and Jules and it would have to be the right story but I would probably leave it alone.

I'm just not fired up about revisiting OUATIH.

I'd have a really difficult time accepting recasting of Reservoir Dogs characters. One of my favorite characters in the history of cinema is Mr. Pink and seeing anyone but Steve Buscemi in that role would be heresy.

Butch killed Vincent in Pulp Fiction. An aged Jules's tales of "walking the earth" could work, but I'm not so sure it'd be all that interesting.

I don't hate the spin-off concept if Tarantino is creatively involved.

That's right I forgot Vincent died.

Great movie but a sequel is not needed at all

It being produced by Netflix doesn’t help it

Going to be really interesting to see a Tarantino script directed by Fincher. A Tarantino sequel no less. Fincher one of the all time greats but very different style.
