Monday again... UGH!!

Hi folks. I am back from being with my 92 year old uncle while my aunt was in the hospital.

It was rough. Every two hours are night lights go on and into bathroom he goes. Eating the food at the semi assisted living facility probably done something to my stomach but at least my aunt is now back home and healthy!
 
morning all

ok weekend, saturday my sister and I took my dad out to eat. Rain finally stopped for a bit so I could get out and mow the lawn finally, but more rain coming including tonight most likely canceling lawn bowling, again
 
I haven't recovered and I am still extremely exhausted and my legs feel like jello
 
Wife went to the in-laws because my father-in-law went to the hospital. Might be in a couple of days. Wife said she had to get up every hour to assist MIL to the bathroom. We'll see what's next.

I did that since Monday night. Every 2 hours my uncle would get out of bed to go to the bathroom. I haven't recovered yet but thankfully my aunt is home and in good spirits so I am back at my place now.

Richmond was cool. The National is a really nice, small intimate venue to see a band. I liked it.

the city is bigger than I thought and there are some really cool areas and really good restaurants.

heading to CT this weekend to visit the wife's family.

I just want a weekend at home.

watched the US Open over the weekend...looked like a time on the course but that was a great ending.

Mrs Pnk is pretty much going home every other weekend to help with her dad
 
I will be going to my parents house Wednesday to help with my mom as well
 
Was sick all weekend. Still dealing with congestion and coughing.

But managed to take the granddaughter to the movies last night so she could see Raiders of the Lost Ark on the big screen for the first time.

Trying to decide if I want to take friday off, we get thursday off, I'm off all following week, so might just extend it

I will have Friday off since I will be working the Travelers Championship. We do get Thursday off anyway so that's great!

Father-in-law probably will be in the hospital for another night, and then who knows when he's actually ready to be a full time caregiver again. I don't understand the ins and outs of their financial situation, but apparently they have some sort of policy that covers long term care that they haven't used yet. The problem is that we just go from crisis to crisis without a long-term plan.

Maybe there truly isn't a long - term plan "available" at this moment and no one knows what's going on, just like in my aunts case. I was supposed to only be there for 3 days then it turned out to 4 days in hospital... Then had to go to 3 days or rehab but my aunt left after 2 days of rehab.. Communication was terrible so I have no idea what was going on
 
Weekend went by quickly. Grand had a birthday party Friday so we were running errands in town until it was done. Saturday went to get propane tank filled that we couldn't Friday. The location Friday doesn't do it anymore & had sign to go to their other location. Went to that location and they no longer are open on Saturdays. Said F it and went home until my family's Father's Day meal. Sunday didn't do much as wife's side is meeting next Saturday. Wife realized the Hard Mtn Dew she bought to try for us didn't have the Code Red which was the only reason we were trying it. So that's an epic fail.
 
heavy wind and rain just came though, we lost a large tree branch already.

Wind blew open front door.
