A Wednesday Thread

Like going to town for supplies and various sundries?
All of the shit.

Dated a broad who lived in a bumfuck town of like 80 people with a gas station and a stop light. Spending the weekends there and needing to take an hour and a half each way to get anything the gas station didn't have made me want to fist myself.

I lived in a town similar to that several years ago. You had to drive someplace else for everything. Couldn't even buy gas there.

not even a church?
Not sure if it's in use anymore. I forgot to add the fire station which that is beside and across the road from me.

The one is now Bossy's friends house and the cemetery is part of their yard lol. The one beside the fire station is the one I'm not sure if it's in use

Fuck everything about that bullshit.

I can literally walk less than a mile and get almost anything I need. Still wish there was a brewery in town, though.

There are three major grocery stores within a 10 minute drive. Can walk to a bunch of convenience stores and a couple dinky grocery stores. Living in some bumfuck Midwest town sounds like a quick way to want to blow my brains out.

There is reason alcoholism is high in the midwest

They're farther than a walk, but I can ride my bike to at least half a dozen breweries.

Yeah, well you can take your late summer weather and keep it too. We want fall in these bumfuck Midwest towns!

It's not for me. I remember after moving to a bigger town with more of the conveniences I had forgotten something at the store that I needed and reminded myself that I didn't need to plan to get it on my way home the next day. I could drive 5 mins and get it

I was so proud of myself for running more than half of my 5k last evening non-stop, but now I have runners rash on my thighs.

WTF... this sucks.

I like it. I'd love it if I found some acreage in the country. I'd love to never have to go to a grocery store again and just be able to grow all my own food.

Optimal word here is "can". You can, but you don't. I have seen you being carted around in that rickshaw
