How many chain steak houses do you know of?

Name some that are better.

Lebron.
Look at the list. At least they have Outback where it should be

When I was 6 months old I was in a commercial for Bonanza steak house. Got paid $150 for just being in my dads arms. he got a lot more since he actually talked. Was just waiting for a table when they came through to interview. So my Social security earnings table is pretty funny, with payments when I was 1 then nothing for like 10 years.

Outback>>>>anything else

The local Bonanza closed up shop many years ago so I can't rate that one. Our local Outback restaurant was my go to for years, but it went to shit about 5 or 6 years ago and the covid shutdowns effectively killed what was left of it and that location is now permanently closed.

The only ones on that list that we have around here are Longhorns and Texas Roadhouse which are basically across the street from each other. I like them both a lot although the Roadhouse experience tends to be noisy as fuck.

I’ve been to 12 of the 17 (no Bonanza, Logan’s, Wolfgang’s, Shula’s or Palm). I think with the exception of Longhorn, they got it basically right. If you dropped Longhorn down near Texas Roadhouse and Saltgrass, and moved Morton’s just above them, I’d agree completely.

Just based on my own experience I would rate Morton's higher, and Smith-Wollensky lower.

Out of the top five, I like Longhorn's the best but I've never been to Palm or Flemings.

I always thought of Lone Star Steakhouse, Outback, Logan's Roadhouse, and Texas Roadhouse as pretty much identical in quality.
Lone Star Steakhouse not on list, don't know if they're still around or not.

Bonanza sucks.

Bonanza sucks.
Wiki says it closed in 2017

The best steak I've ever had was at Binion's but I don't guess it's a chain, just in casinos owned by them.

Also the most expensive.

yeah, Outback has really dropped off with the quality of their steaks. I usually just get Alice Springs Chicken if I go there because I can grill a steak 100 times better than they offer.

No Ryan's?

List is shit.

I worked on the Ryan's Steakhouse here when it was built.

Now it's bulldozed and is a huge car wash. Good, because it sucked.

Damn I feel old.
