Speaking of Drama,

we got this worker complaint the other day. Short story is, worker was asked to do some kind of cultural responsiveness training (read: LGBT awareness training). During the training, the worker said some things that "alarmed" the trainer, who recommended that the worker not be allowed back to their job. HR upheld the termination.

But in the trainer's own statement, they admitted that the material is "challenging by design." IOW, they provoke. It seems to me that the trainer deliberately picked several fights with the worker, in order to highlight the agenda, and the worker got defensive and spoke their minds.

Even the program director spoke up on the employee's behalf, stating they wanted to hear from the direct supervisor as to how the worker interacted with the clients before making a determination.

Omg! Is it FRIDAY for real?!

You're not going to believe this but I'll tell it anyway. (complete waste of my time)

tb is saying that both here and on my other site whoever is involved in the vBookie and member bets are all corrupt. There is cheating going on and the functionality doesn't satisfy him.

He has sent gbr and I a ton of nasty PMs moaning, bitching and complaining about technical details of the new vBookie functionality that neither of us understand because it's senseless.

This week he sent a long-ass PM to me and Vita accusing Vita of cheating.

So to placate him I gave him full access to be a Member Bets mod, even though gbr was right when he said "it's a mistake, it won't work, he'll never stop bitching and accusing." He was right. Still wasn't good enough!

I then forwarded his list of complaints to the developer, hoping the guy would understand what he was talking about and do something?

His response was "this is the guy won't stop bugging me sending me emails about these complete non-issues. I stopped responding."

Why do I get the feeling we're all getting played, and @tabascojet is one of your alts.....

:suspicious: <<<<<< We need this emoji!!!

Reason #232 why I say as little as possible during training sessions.

In other words, they were framed.

In 2015 I did a 90-day consulting thing for an Amazon fulfillment center. I made the mistake of calling a female coworker "gal" and the shit hit the fan.

That is fucked up.
