December 1 morning - the end (of 2020) is nigh

Lucky for me you read my posts
I saw it when @Fish responded otherwise I would have missed it

speaking of wine...I bought a nice bottle for Thanksgiving with my mom. I go in to make my plate after all the pick ups had been made...and the wine is gone. My skank of a sister took it.

she owes me a nice bottle of red now.

So you're either just as stupid as DJ or don't give a fuck that people don't want politics in the morning threads.

Which is it?

I say both.

I recently discussed that I used to be really into wine and that since kids, it's few and far between that I spend much money on wine. My go-to's are in the $12-20 range, occasionally I'll go up to $30.

BUT! I recently had a COVID date night, made surf and turf, and threw down on a bottle of 2015 Heitz Cab. $100 on sale for $60, plus the 10% off for buying six bottles got it down to $54. Holy shit, what a difference from what I usually drink. I either need to win the lottery, or put my kids up for adoption.

Use the kids as slave labor to make money for wine.

she's my sister and I will do nothing of the like.

but she owes me a new bottle...or a nice bottle of bourbon

It's going to be tough to make my goal... Would need to check in 120 new beers this month (about 4 a day) to reach 5,000
Nobody likes a quitter.
Did the United States quit when Germany bombed Pearl Harbor? No! And do you know why?
Because, nobody likes a quitter.
