Best purchases of 2020

Bought a 20ft Center console boat in Nov 2019 so 2020 was the first real boating season and I love it.

Bought my wife an Acura RDX and she loves it (got a great deal as I bought it right after the COVID shut down and the car dealership was in a panic).

Had to pay $38.65 on Amazon for two containers of Clorox wipes and wait a month and a half for them to be delivered because I couldn't find them anywhere. They work great but I'm not happy I paid that much.

just looked it up...pretty interesting.

so it's like a lesser C&C machine for the home, kinda
Exactly. Yep. Mrs OE and all three girls go nuts using that thing.

Purchases this year....hasn’t really been much for me. A lot of woodworking toys the first quarter of the year. Only thing I can think of since then is a big ass monitor for the home desk. But that’s more work/pandemic related.

Sheesh....I’m due for something nice for myself.

I don't own much in terms of toys for myself.

I have my tennis and golf equipment and a nice drone...but I don't think I have much that I would consider a "toy"

I think I may invest in solar panels in 2021

My puppy, cricut machine that I don’t have enough time to play with and laptop that I spilled a margarita on and subsequently broke a key on, trying to clean :(

hi moxie

how is the pooch? is she a perfect angel?

I don't think I've bought anything that really wasn't needed all year.

My 50 inch tv I bought for the rv basement outside tv location qualifies I guess. But I really needed it because 32 inches was too small.

This was more of a “gift” but since I am the sole breadwinner in my household, technically I purchased it...

Got a Blackstone griddle in August. Absolutely love it.

A pool. I need to build a greenhouse around it though, because I can only use the fucker for two months out of the year in Wisconsin.

Got back into homebrewing after a 5+ year hiatus, so needed to replenish some equipment that didn't do well in storage and the best recipe I've made thus far in the Heady Topper clone.

Decided to "splurge" every now and then on my bourbon selections from my typical Evan Williams white label to some single barrels. Versions from Henry McKenna and Four Roses were my favorite.

Also picked up a new pair of Allen Edmonds Bond Street oxfords that were essentially a third of the original price to add to my other pairs of AE.
