December 1 morning - the end (of 2020) is nigh

So the hardest I've laughed in a long time...my friend got the bartenders at twin peaks to each attempt to put these in their mouths

Mr. Kobe got me a weighted blanket for my birthday. First couple days were great. But last night 2 of the 3 kids wandered in during the night and slept in our bed. The combo of a kid snuggled in on each side and the weighted blanket on top of me was a real claustrophobic nightmare.

Wasting money is in the eye of the beholder, no? We end up spending $75-ish for a couple wreaths and a tree and have the experience of spending a couple of enjoyable hours together. In my opinion, that is one of the best ways to spend $75.

I mean, some people would say buying a fake tree is wasting money as well. Hell, Douche believes buying a nice steak is wasting money.
If it was up to me, there wouldn't be Christmas. At least not by todays standards. I seriously don't give 2 shits about it. Wouldnt be a tree at all.
It would be more like Thanksgiving, instead the consumer mania induce bullshit it is now. Only kids would get gifts, and everyone else would act adults, and no need to get presents to feel loved by someone.

Im all in on this. I hate buying gifts.

Thanksgiving is by far the superior holiday. Limited (or no) decorations, no gift buying. Just hanging out with good food and some games.
