Do any of you non Christians get offended when someone wishes you a Merry Christmas?

Agreed. Someone that gets offended by stuff has given way too much power to retards.
 
Nope. I'm ok with it. That's what the holiday is called. No more offensive than Happy Halloween.

And that’s always been a big piece I’ve noticed. Once I started seeing displays saying “Jesus is the reason for the season” I knew it was a commercialized, secular holiday and that was really pissing some folks off. I respect that part.

But then, a PC approach to using “Happy Holidays” was seen as taking away the last vestige of a Christian holiday....taking the Christ out of Christmas. Oh the anger!!!

Deal with it....Christianity latched onto what was already a heathen celebration, doing the “if you can’t beat them, join them” anyway.

Christmas isn't about Christ anymore. Those who are mad about it need to accept they sold their soul a long time ago.

That's why I like it. To me, it's more about the Christmas Spirit, and having good food with friends and loved ones. Maybe a little bit of the winter equinox, too. . .

I'd imagine a majority of those celebrating do not attend Christmas mass

Christmas is a Christian holiday whether you decide to celebrate it or not and atheists aren’t supposed to celebrate Christmas anyways.

I have respect for the atheists who don’t celebrate Christmas (very few true atheists out there). The ones that do use excuses like this.
