We haven't had to buy much this year. Might buy some more lights, though. Apparently they don't make the ones we use outside anymore, and some of the bulbs are dying. Plan is to add a couple more strings of bigger bulbs to add on to what's outside, and use one strand of the discontinued lights as our "replacement parts" until we run out and have to buy new lights for the roof.

I bought lights and a tree topper...

need a tree skirt next..but will be going to Home Goods soon

Pretty much out of those old bulbs, I broke a lot of em anyway. LEDs are pretty sturdy and don't burn out.

I bought a couple strings of the LED 5mm mini bulbs. I like them a lot.

Word. I just switched to LED on the tree. Really happy with them.

Good morning good people. My male cat got a $50 shot for an infection and surgery is next Tuesday. He has a golf ball size lump under his chin and it burst through the skin. He's pretty dopey right now, and I've been hand feeding him.

So, breakdancing has been added to the Olympics. Can Nose Picking be far behind?

It got so cold during the night, that even my wife asked for some heat. It feels almost bearable this morning.

we're having a fire, it'll be in the upper 30's which for MN is great and its my curling team so we're normally outside

We also want to be "safe" and we all feel hanging outside is the safest way to get together at the moment

It's not about validation. It's about human connection.

People sit around patios, driveways, yards and firepits all the time....not just in Covid.
