super groggy Thursday morning

we had a 1 car garage that didn't hold a car until my parents got their Thunderbird.

But we had also recently took in a stray cat and her kitten that decided the hood of the Thunderbird would be a good place to kill a bird. Ren and Stimpy didn't last long in the garage.
My parents and grandparents had garages that seemed to be built as an afterthought.

Those big Buicks could barely fit into them, and once they did you could hardly get out of the car.

and the door didn't have an opener.

me: Hey dad, why don't we get an opener?

dad: I have you... get out and shut the door.

in my 17 years of home ownership I think I've used my garage for parking cars fewer than 17 days.

That shit is going to change next week.
i didn't realize you were a hoarder

Fucking auto text response....
I might need that thing I haven't used in 7 years and didn't know was in this box... don't make me throw it out.
You never know when someone might need that 10 year old toaster oven

in MN that would be a top priority. I never understand people around here that have garages full of stuff and cars in driveway
Never really parked my car in the garage here. Partially because the garage is situated kinda weirdly. It's separate from the house, maybe 30-40 feet back from it. No power to the garage, so no heat or AC to really make a difference. And, the door to drive into it points to the neighbor's yard. Also, driveway runs the length of the property, and is barely big enough for one car.

So, if I were to use the garage to park a car in it, I'd have to either pave more of a parking spot in the driveway for car #2, or I'd have to park one car in the street.

As it is, the garage is an oversized storage shed that occasionally gets used when I decide I want to do work on a car.

finally got through to my mortgage company about the reanalyzing my escrow

Only needed to tell automated computer multiple times operator and no, I am not requesting covid hardship

There's a cabinet in my kitchen that contains the following:

old coffee maker
older coffee maker
broken espresso machine
juicer that my wife got on some crazy $20 amazon deal that we used for a month and then never again
boxes of still working incandescent light bulbs that were replaced by LED.

The sad part is that if I cleaned out that cabinet, I'd probably box that shit up and store it in my garage.

Don't even get me started on all the stuff we got, and will never use, from my FIL's estate. Yesterday she cried about the new owners of his house doing a remodel.

I have to take this slooooowwwww.

Legs are sore.
