WTF is wrong with Wisconsin?

I was born, raised and have lived almost my whole life in Wisconsin... I've never heard of that shit.

Thanks, CNN, for painting all Wisconsinites as cannibalistic retards! đź–•

Roger that. Our preference is the cocktail rye with a sliver of sweet vidalia onion. Good shit.

Years ago, my mother decided to get fancy and packed a lobster jello mold with raw beef as she though the presentation would be cool. Imagine what it looked like

We all laughed our asses off all night.

I ain't eating that shit!!!

Ain't no hipster, but then we don't call that a cannibal sandwich either. They are called Tiger Sandwiches and I have eaten many of them. The secret is the type onion and mustard. I prefer spicy brown mustard and white onions. And only fresh-ground burger.
So you grind it yourself? What are you grinding to make it?

Mostly an older tradition that is making a comeback. Have had raw beef and onions for the last 3 seasons and all who participated are fine.

CNN can suck my fat cock.
How much "older" are we talking? All four of my grandparents were born on Wisconsin family farms in east-central Wisconsin (Lamartine, Wild Rose, Oshkosh, Omro) in the early 1930's. Not once has raw beef been eaten in any of my family's households or any households I've visited.

Well, I am 63 and we have consumed raw beef and onions every year since I can remember. Not only my family, but friends family as well.

so, as I mentioned earlier, my wife of 28 years is from Wisky (S. Milwaukee) and I've never heard of this until today. She's a NICU RN but works the night shift. She just woke up a little bit ago and I just had to ask about it. Sure enough, she says they used to eat this every year at Christmas when growing up.

I'm telling you, I really should have gotten to know more about her back ground before marrying her.

I'm sorry, I learned when I was a wee lad not to eat raw beef.

Yeah, this is a thing in WI. I've never tried it because I'm not a fan of salmonella, but when I was growing up, the old-timers would eat this. I haven't seen anyone eat one in quite a while, but I live in the city now. It's probably more of a country thing, if I had to guess.

I've heard there's another one made with raw pork, but I don't know if it has a fancy name like Lion Sammich or whatever :noidea:

Well that would be a great option for those concerned about their red meat intake.
