I remember that game. Held in Eugene, OR at Autzen Stadium. Ducks won the conference title that year.

I was at that game. It was actually very underwhelming for a conference championship but at least the Ducks won

To be fair to UCLA, pretty much every game was underwhelming that year because Oregon beat the entire conference by about 4 TD's.

Don'tcha know? It's part of the "everybody gets a trophy" thing that is trending along these days.... :heh:

In general, I'm all for more football, but I want to at least watch decent teams play. .550 and below teams are at that level for a reason. :rolleyes2:

Wisconsin might be the least deserving but they weren't a bad team. They lost 5 games by 3 points that year and lost the Rose Bowl vs. Stanford by 6. They took all their frustration out on Nebraska in the CCG
