CFB Pet Peeves

Early season "neutral site" games like Boise St-UGA 2010, UW-Auburn 2018, etc. being labeled as actual 50-50 neutral site games.
 
People who say that SCar is "the real USC", that Wisconsin is "the real UW" or that Hawaii is "the real UH".

Well the real NU is Nebraska.

but ok... yeah, we all know the real USC is Southern Cal. The real UW is Washington, but for UH... we talkin bout Houston?

I've had two particularly funny experiences: One in Sydney, AUS being quizzed about who would be the Cal QB that day vs. Hawaii in the Hotel elevator and the other in the Downtown Des Moines Hy-Vee being quizzed by a Hawkeye fan about how I thought Michigan State would do that year! lol. I am kinda that guy lol. I don't "quiz" people, but I will typically be like 'oh, a Michigan State fan, what do you think about this" type of thing. I just use it as a way to spark up a conversation, meet new people, etc. A lot of the time I do it when people are wearing hats of the team and I ask and they will say 'it's just a hat', leaving me internally disappointed lol, but I will just say 'ok'.

RIGHT???

Like pretty much how most of Alabamas "neutral site" games are considerably closer to Alabama than to whoever their opponent is.

I actually don't mind the questions in a big sense, as I only wear t-shirts that have a story. Usually a trophy shirt from a visit to that team's stadium or a Bowl Game. So, I am prepared for the "Mich. State is a great place to see a game" talk, but I am not good with depth chart talk. Heck, even with Iowa State, I cannot go deep into depth chart talk beyond Brock Purdy, Breece Hall, the Tight Ends, etc.

That being said, I am wearing my Oregon State Football t-shirt today that I picked up two years ago - when I flew to the Beaver State for a Friday Night Washington @ Oregon State Football / Saturday Afternoon Iowa State @ Oregon State Men's Basketball Weekend double-header. Go Beavers! Just don't ask me who the QB will be this year!

Yeah see that is the type of questions I would ask lol. I would typically start easy, talk about the coach, how the team did last year, then I would go into the positions that need work or the players that I think will be good or something. lol I am probably annoying.
