GAME The Conference of Champions Championship Game 8PM EST on FOX

for some reason, I thought Washington had a two game divisional lead over Oregon

nope, the cancelled UW/Oregon game was for all the marbles

don't really have an issue w/ Oregon calling themselves conference champs

It was 3-1 vs 3-2 going into the last week

Congrats to the Ducks.

As for USC:

Turn the ball over...check.

Get 100 yards in penalties...check.

Kill your own momentum by not taking advantage of momentum changing plays...check.

Still have a chance to win it at the end again...check.

If this team can learn to get out of it's own way next year...it might have a chance to be pretty good.

Honestly both defenses came to play but the turnovers were the difference.

For Oregon, they need to either get Shough some confidence or find a new QB. He played scared the entire game and it nearly cost Oregon. I will give USC credit on defense, they had some very well called blitzes and Hufanga is a monster. That said, the QB needs to be better in 2021 if Oregon wants to be a contender.

For USC, they need to get better on the offensive line. USC couldn't run the ball at all and Slovis had to play escape artist all night. If USC wants to match their high expectations, that needs to change. It's not that complicated, they just got beat all night up front.

Sounds like Nebraska.

Agree 100%.

Your d-line kicked our o-line's ass all night. Especially Thibodeaux. Our o-line hasn't exactly been stellar this year, but it's at least been serviceable. Last night was easily the worst game they've played all season. Guys were just coming in untouched at times.

For some reason, we haven't been able to upgrade the o-line. We seem to get 4 and 5 star guys everywhere but the o-line. NFL level o-linemen used to be a staple at USC. But ever since the sanctions when Kiffin focused his recruiting efforts almost exclusively on skill position players...we haven't been able to recruit top level o-linemen.

One more weird side note. Oregon's best defensive player, Kayvon Thibodeaux is from Los Angeles. USC's best defensive player, Talanoa Hufanga, is from Oregon.

SC hung in there. With the early turnovers, a lot of teams would have just gotten blown out. Just too many turnovers. Believe me, Oregon has been there
Thank you sir I have liked the never give up attitude. And I do think Orlando’s defense has been a major improvement. Especially playing in spite of the offense. I’m really not fond of the GH offense. It’s frustrating GH refuses to put the QB under center kills the running game running out of shotgun not utilizing their RB’s. Hope to see the air raid go.Y’all got a nasty defense aNd you’re ducks are only going to get better. Hope to see y’all more in the future great game

I have a feeling we will see a few more Oregon/SC matchups in the pac title game this decade

Wednesday - Oregon signs 20 players on what is the #6 class in the country

Thursday - They lock Mario up with a long term contract and Mariota vs Herbert

Friday - They win the PAC 12 Championship

Not a bad week. Go Ducks!
Dont forget last weekend beat uw bball and today women playing uw bball

When I say there should be an 8 team CFP, with auto-qualifiers for Conf Champs, but with conditions, this is the condition I am talking about. Oregon would not get the auto-qualifier. You would have 4 auto-qualifiers, then 4 at large. Hard to think Oregon would get in over OU, TAMU, Clemson/ND loser, UF, UGA, or any number of other teams. This will provide the committee a great example for future expansion.
