B1G aiming for Thanksgiving start

I am all for the kids playing. But let's take a shallow dive into this. They cancelled because they were uncertain about the heart thing. What exactly has happened to the heart issue that would allow them to start at Thanksgiving, but not now. There won't be a vaccine. Testing? I suppose, but they don't know that.

They were using a study which has been challenged. It's not necessarily valid anymore.

Neither the PAC nor the B1G have yet to back off the heart thing. I know the report you are talking about, but well after that was countered, people from both conferences were talking about the heart problem.

It never made sense that they kept practicing if it was the heart thing. Absent the heart thing, there is no reason to not play.

Total cluster for the B1G. Man, if the Alpha 3 pull this off, the B1G is going to look so bad. Will kill a lot of teams other than tOSU for the next few years.

I don't see this working with a late November/ early December start. That is nonsense.

He needs to come out and say one of two things... either 'Hope you're ready, we are on as originally scheduled' or 'We will be starting late september, early october'.

I don't see how a start as late as after thanksgiving works with the season or the rest of CFB. Either the B1G would automatically be excluded from a potential playoff berth or the ACC, B12, and SEC would get 2 to 2.5 months to prepare and the B1G wouldn't get much of any time. This is nonsense.
 
Just buying 3 more months to cancel again. Total puss move
