Just the worst 3 franchise of all time. Let's exclude the Jaguars/Panthers/Texans as they are relatively new and really in being none of those three have been all that bad.

My bottom three are...

1. Cardinals
2. Browns
3. Lions

Bengals used to have solid teams in the 70s 80s and 90s didn't they? Also they were at least competitive during the Dalton years.
80's, until we met the 9ers. 90's were complete shit

Steelers
Packers
Ravens

What do I win?

They had some exciting teams in the late 80's. Seemed like they were on MNF constantly and fun to watch.

Well, this is just mean

right, and the browns used to be a perennial powerhouse in the 50's and early 60's. really, the browns didn't really become the joke that we've known them to be, until they came back to the NFL in 1999. those early 90's browns teams weren't really all that bad, and they were pretty good in the 80's, and not too awful in the 70's. they don't really deserve to be on your list if we're talking "all-time worst"

The Browns were one of the top pre Super Bowl teams. Really and truly, the original Browns are now the Ravens and they've won two Super Bowls. If you're going for the current, expansion Browns, they should get the same protection as the Jags, Panthers and Texans get from OP.

Cardinals are easily the worst.
Lions are my pick for second
The Jets are my pick for third. Yeah, I know they won a Super Bowl 100 years ago, but they've done nothing since, I mean, what's the most iconic Jets moment since Super Bowl 3? The Butt Fumble?

Panthers are 10 games over .500 since 2002. While certainly not great, they don't belong on a list that consists of the 3 worst franchises in history.

I agree, but they were in the excluded from contention list because of how new the franchise is. None of the 3 OP mentioned in that category would come close to the bottom 3.

I think we have to throw the Chargers in there with only one Super Bowl appearance and zero wins.

Why are the Cards the worst easily? They have at least made it to the Super Bowl. That by itself should put them above the Lions and theirs was more recent which should put them above the Jets. I mean no one talks about the Dolphins but they have been irrelevant except two seasons just like the Cardinals.

They haven’t won a championship since the 40’s, and have been terrible the majority of the years of the Super Bowl era. Lions were a lot better before the Super Bowl era

Dolphins? They have two super bowls, the only undefeated team in the super bowl era, and one of the best quarterbacks of all time.

The Browns were a powerhouse in the 50's & 60's.

The Jets have a history of suckiness with the exception of the Joe Namath era.
