Top 10 Favorite Sports Movies of All Time

If you can't show respect for other folk's opinions then I guess it isn't for you either.
In what way did I not "show respect" for your opinion? Again, you read into something that wasn't there. I stated my opinion in that I like it, but it doesn't have the same appeal. I never once said it was stupid, or your opinion was stupid or anything like that. You are reading into something that doesn't exist.

1. Rocky
2. Miracle
3. Friday Night Lights
4. Slapshot
5. Longest Yard (original)
6. Brian’s Song
7. Bull Durham
8. Hoop Dreams
9. Field of Dreams

I am honestly shocked that Rocky isn't on more lists.

Rocky 1-4 is on my list wth 3&4being better than the first 2.....

Marshall, watched this for rhe first time a month ago.....sad movie if people are into those.....

For another very sad movie:
Brians Song

The Longest yard....the original, not the dumb Adam Sandler one.

The Replacements....(add this to one of my vert few comedy movies)

Diggstown

The Last Boy Scout(if considered a sports movie)

No particular order......

#3-10 Any other sports movies

Fuck "The Natural". Took a good book and turned it into some Disney happy ending bullshit.

Yeah, I get that. I saw the movie first, then read the book. "Based" on.

Yeah I suppose I don't really dislike watching the movie, it just feels like it's something different.

True, forgot about those.

But even with that... that is like 3 minutes worth of scenes from the movie (if that) lol. Like I said, to each their own. It is a great movie no matter how you classify it.
Look, if cocksuckers can call Die Hard a Christmas movie, then Chewy can classify Forrest Gump any way his Hillbilly ass sees fit.

Rounders was a good one. Poker is on ESPN, so it counts.
As someone who plays a lot of poker, and as someone who's pretty good at it, there has never been a good poker scene in any movie.

Molly's Game is the best poker movie I've seen.

The final hand is unlikely/unrealistic (possibly necessarily so?) but I like the rest of the action in "The Cincinnati Kid".
