Get your lazy asses up.

Up early trying to make up for lost time yesterday. Definitely not feeling it, but have been powering through.

Up early because wife's sinuses woke her up.

Hoping to visit with my grandfather's widow today. Was planning on ringing in the new year at my sister's house, but with wifey in a bit of discomfort, we may just stay home.

Morning

My sisters bf is in the hospital with a kidney stone. That's one thing I never want to experience.

Getting to the gym before the guy that works there comes in today, so I can sneak SA with me.

Same. I've heard that's one of the few types of pain that rivals child birth.

I remember when I was in about 3rd grade that my mom had them a couple times. We were broke as fuck and had shitty health insurance and the surgery was going to cost a lot of money. We had some crazy neighbor who told her about a "home remedy" to get rid of them. Something like drink 12 Diet Cokes and eat a bunch of asparagus within 2 hours to break up the stones. Mom gave it a go to try to save the money. Of course it didn't work and she just ended up extra sick.

Probably spent years paying off that surgery.

Mr. Kobe told me he was going to head to the gym around 7:30 this morning. But alas, he's still sleeping.

I had to drive my dad to the hospital in his Grand Wagoneer when I was 15 when he had one. I dropped him off and he told me to drive home. Weird experience.

Anyways, I think he had to sit in a tub with ultrasonics trying to break up the kidney stones. That sounded nice.

I'm going to make a bagel and then get on the bike for a ride

Yesterday was my busy work day and I managed to finish everything by noon. Chilling today.

Sounds like something I would say/do

Hows the Pelaton working out for you?
Not too bad. Weather has been decent so still getting out, but it's a good workout. I'm not great at keeping up with any kind of cardio normally
