More evidence that Leach's disciples have adapted the Air Raid a lot better than he has.

Man, I dislike this opt-out stuff. Cheapens wins by good teams IMO - and I really believe OU is a top-four team.

Sadly, don't know if there's a cure in this new age.

Never thought I'd miss the pre-BCS days.
As far as opt outs, I'm not sure it would matter nowadays. I think players would be opting out at the same rate in the old bowl system as they are today in the CFP era. JMO.

OU is more of a run first team. Last night, for example, rushed for 439 yds on 38 rushes. Threw for 249 on 15 attempts. This has been typical in the Riley era. True, LR's roots eminate from the Air Raid, but it is just one piece now.

Florida plays a bowl game with no WRs.

ESPN reports on it.

"SEC bias!"

Are we really pretending like Florida was on level playing ground? Let me know if we are, and I'll pretend with the rest of you.

Make no mistake about it, Florida will never be on level plsying ground with one of the very few true blue bloods in the gane.

There’s always an excuse. No SEC team has ever lost a game because the other team was better.

Says who? Mindfucked B1G'ers? Bitter Big XII'ers? Who?

I think Oklahoma beats Florida last night with all their WRs, but you have to admit it's certainly open for debate, not that I really see anyone debating it like all you guys are pretending they are.

No one's making excuses except for you clowns and it's a bad look. Just enjoy the fact that an SEC team lost (your ultimate goal) and stop already.

Is it ok if I just want to drink?

I’ve got 5 more hours of work and something has to keep me motivated.

The way I see it is Oklahoma would have for years been the second or third best team in the SEC which means (since we're in a different conference) that's good enough to get us into the playoff but not good enough to win it all. But now OU is slowly improving to the point where we could legitimately win a SEC championship......and that will translate into a better performance in the CFP. Alabama would still beat us but we're getting closer.

You’re retarded If you think they don’t go out of their way to make excuses for SEC teams.

SEC SEC SEC.

Every year the SEC has a great team. The last decade or so, Bama (with LSU making an appearance last season). Just like every other conference. ACC has Clemson of late. The B12 has OU. The B1G has tOSU. The PAC has been lacking as of late. Once we get past that, there are some good teams in each and many average. Yes, Bama and Clemson have been the dominant teams lately and have bragging rights. OU has had conference success, and won last night, but on a national level, we have been in a drought for 2 decades. Florida, 12 year drought. Due to plenty of pregame boasts by Florida and the SEC network(aka ESPN) of how bad the Gayturds were going to wipe the floor with OU, OU fans are fully entitled to enjoy the win. Florida can make all the excuses they want, but just shows weakness. We all know about the opt outs.
Hoooollllleeeeshit.

Do you really think this way? What is wrong with your brain?

Missing your top 4 WRs is not an excuse. That is a hit. I didn't know that and I was coming in here to laugh at Florida. That makes a lot of sense on why Trask struggled.

You don't think this is an excuse, look at the NFL when they lose some of their WRs to injury.

Granted, Oklahoma is a lot better than the team that lost to Iowa State and Kansas State at the beginning of the season. They are probably a top 4 team.

OU played for their team, and should be proud of the win regardless of circumstances and excuses. The record books don't give a shit.

The fans were the big losers for this game for having to watch so many players learn to play football on the big stage. Mullen did not play to win.
